Tingog ug Tulunggon Mindanao: 鈥淎lang sa Kalinaw ug Kahiusahan鈥� (TTMAKK), a project grant funded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) which aims to bring together musicians coming from the areas of Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Marawi, Cotabato/Maguindanao, Davao and Zamboanga/ Basilan in Mindanao who are passionate in their advocacy on peace and unity for Mindanaons.
The Cultural Development Office of Mindanao State University 鈥� Iligan Institute of Technology will conduct a workshop component of this project on September 11, 2014 held at the 处女视频-IIT Mini Theatre. The said workshop will be facilitated by Mr. Rodelio 鈥淲away鈥� Saway, a well-known musician and composer-artist in Mindanao. The participating music groups from different provinces/cities in Mindanao will aim to create One song, One voice of Mindanao, a call for peace and unity. The song will be recorded together with Mr. Saway and duly submitted to the NCCA,which will be aired all over Mindanao eventually.
September 12, 2014 will be the staging of TTMAKK Concert at 7 o鈥檆lock in the evening held at the 处女视频- IIT Gymnasium, during which the output of the workshop, song for Peace in Mindanao, will be performed by all the participants with Mr. Saway. The concert is open to the public, FREE admission.
