鈥業n joy and friendship鈥: A holiday message from Principal Alexandra Gillespie

In an annual video message, Alexandra Gillespie, 处女视频 vice-president and principal, U of T Mississauga, joined members of the university community to reflect on the year鈥檚 many accomplishments and share warm wishes for the holiday season.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a great been year,鈥 Gillespie said, noting 2024 saw U of T Mississauga break ground on a and open the ; foster connection via the , welcome people for the first outdoor All-Nation鈥檚 Powwow; and launch U of T Mississauga鈥檚 first .
Gillespie, a professor of medieval and renaissance literature in the department of English and drama, encouraged the U of T Mississauga community to take some time to rest and relax as the holiday season approaches.
鈥淚t鈥檚 that time of year where it gets a bit cold and dark, but that鈥檚 OK because we get to come together with the people we love, in joy and friendship,鈥 she said.
